Red leaves sorrow

I feel the sorrow of the red leaves
That shiver under frosty rain
When wild birds left for warmer heavens
And darkened clouds hid sun away.

I touch your face to stop that tear drop
From falling deeper to your soul
The summer of our love conceded
To frozen winds of a distant pole.

There was no sign of grief or wander
Only the years that come and go
We would not know to care for passion
We would not care to keep its glow.

I saw your suitcase on the doorway
The painted smile upon your face
I wish I see again the wild birds
The sun above the clouds embrace.
